Sheriff Shoots Real Estate Agent as She Shows House, then Walks Away because “He’s the Sheriffâ€

Gwinnett County, GA — Clayton County Sheriff, Victor Hill, has not been charged with a crime and was allowed to leave the scene after shooting a woman in the stomach on Sunday.

According to Gwinnett County Police Sgt. Brian Doan, Hill accidentally shot a woman at a model home located at 2567 Britt Trail Drive in Lawrenceville at around 7 p.m. Sunday.

The woman Hill shot is in critical condition at Gwinnett Medical Center. She was the real estate agent who was showing the home. How someone can “accidentally†shoot a woman as she shows a house remains a mystery.

When police arrived on the scene they said Hill refused to cooperate with the investigation and did not give a statement nor answer any questions. Citing the fact that he was the sheriff, Hill simply left the scene.

Let that sink in.

This man shot and may have killed a woman as she was showing a house to two potential home-buyers. He gives no reason as to why or how he shot her and simply leaves.

Put the average citizen in Hill’s shoes and contemplate the multiple scenarios unfolding as police arrive on the scene. None of those scenarios end with the shooter walking away from police and living to talk about it.

As protesters take to the streets around the country, many people are still left wondering where that anger originates. Well, this incident epitomizes that anger.

There are two “justice†systems in this country; one for the ruling class and one for everyone else.

Prior to the sheriff crossing paths with this woman she was alive and well, and now she is not. Regardless of intent, a woman’s life is on the line and it’s only because of this man. At the very least, he should be charged with negligence, and at most, attempted or actual murder. And, had he been an average citizen, he would have been.

To top this off, Hill was re-elected to his position as sheriff while he was facing 37 charges of corruption. After his re-election, he was acquitted on all charges.

The jury acquitted him after Hill claimed he had the right to use county vehicles, credit cards and take pleasure trips with former female employees, including to gambling casinos, because he was sheriff 24/7, 365 days a year and was always on call.

Police Seize 10 Children From ‘Off-Grid’ Homeschool Family

Authorities targeting Americans with traditional, rural lifestyles

Police seized ten children from an “off grid†homeschool family in Kentucky on Wednesday after receiving an anonymous tip about the family’s traditional lifestyle.

The nightmare story began when sheriff’s officers set up a blockade around Joe and Nicole Naugler’s rural property before entering the premises. Eight of the kids were out with their father but Nicole and two of her oldest children were at home. Nicole attempted to drive away but was subsequently stopped and arrested for resisting (attempting to prevent officers from taking her two boys away).

The sheriff then demanded Joe Naugler turn over the other eight children by 10am the next day or face felony charges, an order with which he complied.

“They are an extremely happy family,†said family friend Pace Ellsworth, who asserts that the Nauglers were targeted because of their “back to basics life†and their decision to homeschool their children.

Friends reported no concerns about how the children were being treated by the parents, who follow an educational model called “unschooling†where the children decide their own curriculum based on the subjects that interest them and what their strengths are.

“This is the natural way to live,†said Ellsworth. “It’s actually a growing movement. They want to have a personal education and not a factory education. They are completely open about their life. Everyone is learning by living. They are all extremely intelligent.â€

The family’s

Facebook page – entitled “My Blessed Little Homestead,†is a charming testament to their way of life. The Naugler children are obviously living a blissful “free range†lifestyle amongst 26 acres of land in Breckinridge County.

“They frequently post pictures and videos of their children, animals and their off-grid life,â€

reports Off the Grid News. “A May 5 post showed a video of a toddler, Mosiah, learning to walk. An April 24 post showed a happy family, gathering around a campfire, roasting marshmallows.â€

The family have set up a

GoFundMe page to try and raise money for legal expenses.

A

website for the family spells out their plight with the heart-wrenching words; “This Kentucky family of 12 people, 6 dogs, 2 farm cats and a few random farm animals was just torn apart. Their crime: Living a simple, back to basics life.â€

This shocking story once again illustrates how families attempting to simply get on with their lives in a traditional manner are being treated as extremists by other Americans, snitched on, and targeted by authorities.

Meanwhile, in New Jersey, a

WND report highlights how parents were interrogated by a CPS caseworker who questioned Christopher Zimmer and his wife Nicole, “on everything from their son’s homeschool education to questions about vaccines and guns in the house.â€

Michelle Marchese aggressively demanded to enter the property after asserting Christopher Zimmer Jr. was not getting a “proper education.†Police subsequently arrived and allowed Marchese to enter the home before conducting a warrantless search.

The Zimmers are now suing the CPS for $60 million in a case before the U.S. District Court in Trenton.

Whilst I have a certain admiration for people who make their own decisions about their kids' future, I see real social problems, being created by people who want to live 'off the grid' but then avail themselves of 'the grid' at the drop of the hat when they need it.

This is not just an argument about whether to not there is an entitlement to society's benefits, but whether or not they are skilled enough to interface with 'the grid' or whether or not they do harm to 'the grid'.

I saw a family on the TV the other day where the teenage kids were teaching themselves to read, from texts on their phones, they could not read a basic web page with things like 'home' on it. Can you imagine a teenager taking an injured sibling to hospital to save it's life? would they know how to recognise a hospital? would they know what a hospital was? could they read the road signs to get there?

Then there's the vaccination issue, pockets of measles are still threatening thousands of thousands of infants and kids because 'off the grid' folk know better.

It'd be different if the 'off the grid' folk could be put behind a wall, and left to their mediaeval life, but unfortunately, they all end up wanting mobile phones etc.

There is a heck of a more story to this then just some freedom loving home schoolers. Or "unschoolers" as these children are called.

Yes, adults have a right to live on the grid, off the grid, or on the streets.

But when it comes to children there are other laws.

Have you seen the article going around entitled, “BREAKING: Police Seize 10 Children From Homeschool Family Because They’re Off-Grid The one about the “off-grid†homeschoolers, Joe and Nicole Naugler, whose children were allegedly stolen because of the family’s off-grid lifestyle? (Karen Campbell’s Relationship Homeschooling and HSLDA’s ParentalRights.org shared it today.)

Please know that there is so much more to know about the Nauglers than meets the eye in this case: allegations of theft, illegal transportation, fleeing the law, threatening neighbors with death, child neglect, and more. Homeschoolers and unschoolers that actually know the family are cautioning people that this family is troubled.

The way the media reports the news, leaves much to be desired.

Will you ever know the real truth and facts? unlikely unless you travel there and investigate yourself.

Way too many reporters have their own agendas and the news gets slanted :dunno:

How to spin the news your ideological way.

Viewed Fox Business News on May 8.

Stuart Varney of Fox News stated that this is terrible news.

And of course, bad for Obama.

"The U.S. economy added a solid 223,000 jobs in April, according to government data released Friday morning, a key sign that the labor market is regaining its footing after taking a slide earlier this year.

The unemployment rate fell to 5.4 percent, a seven-year low.

The latest numbers offer encouragement that the recent economic slowdown marks a temporary slip — one that is at least partly weather-related — rather than a sign of deeper problems. Both the jobs growth in April, as well as the tick down in the unemployment rate, was almost exactly in line market expectations."
