Coss
Draft executive order on 'religious freedom' would allow LGBTQ, abortion discrimination The Trump administration may permit discrimination against premarital sex, same-sex marriage, trans people and abortion on religious grounds, according to a leaked draft executive order. The four-page draft, titled "Establishing a Government-Wide Initiative to Respect Religious Freedom," would broaden religious freedom protections to "any organisation, including closely held for-profit corporations, operated for a religious purpose, even if its purpose is not exclusively religious." more at - http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11793954

Coss
Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway cites a massacre that never happened to defend travel ban Key US President Donald Trump aide Kellyanne Conway has taken "alternative facts" to a new level. During a Thursday interview with MSNBC's Chris Matthews, Conway defended President Donald Trump's travel ban related to seven majority-Muslim countries. However in doing so, she made a reference to two Iraqi refugees whom she described as the masterminds behind "the Bowling Green Massacre." The Bowling Green Massacre didn't get covered because it didn't happen. There has never been a terrorist attack in Bowling Green, Kentucky, carried out by Iraqi refugees or anyone else. Conway was likely referring to two Iraqi citizens living in Bowling Green who were arrested in 2011 and eventually sentenced to federal prison for attempting to send weapons and money to al-Qaeda in Iraq for the purpose of killing US soldiers, according to a news release from the Department of Justice. Mohanad Shareef Hammadi was sentenced to life in federal prison, and Waad Ramadan Alwan, 31 to 40 years in federal prison, followed by a life term of supervised release. Both men pleaded guilty to federal terrorism charges. http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/americas/89094206/donald-trump-aide-kellyanne-conway-cites-a-massacre-that-never-happened-to-defend-travel-ban

Coss
Jeez, I'd love to be a fly on the wall n the Oval Office, "Sack Him", "Fire Him", "you can't?", "Your Fired", "and You", "and You", "and You", "and You", "aaarrrrggh #}>@$!)!_*" US President Donald Trump's 'Muslim ban' temporarily blocked by judge A US judge today temporarily blocked President Donald Trump's ban on people from seven predominantly Muslim countries after Washington state and Minnesota urged a nationwide hold on the executive order that has launched legal battles across the country. US District Judge James Robart in Seattle ruled against government lawyers' claims that the states did not have the standing to challenge Trump's order and said they showed their case was likely to succeed. "The state has met its burden in demonstrating immediate and irreparable injury," Robart said...... more at http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11794811
buffalo_bill
President Donald called the judge who ruled against his Executive Order a " so-called judge " . I hope enough US citizens realise that he is now showing another side which is disrespect for the jurisdiction which means it can hardly get any lower . Google the term faschist and find out what Trump and friends are heading for .
Pom Michael
President Donald called the judge who ruled against his Executive Order a "so-called judge" I guess it is OK then to call Trump a "so-called President" ?
Coss
Yes, though I wouldn't go that far, I think calling him "so called" would be enough I thought he was a Drumpf?
