Pom Michael
True Story I had a "friend" in Pattaya around 2001-2002, worked at the hotel I stayed in when going down there (which was very often during that period). Became good "friends" and then all my friends started calling her "Wilson" - I for one had not seen this movie and had no idea what they were talking about. Kept asking them why you call her Wilson - but no one would say - only laugh. Finally, I watched the movie and then realized what was going on. She was very quiet, never saying anything when we were all around her - so they nicknamed her Wilson because of that. Some English jerk ended up taking her to the UK in about 2004 or 2005 - but she ended up back in Pattaya with an unwanted kid a few years later. Oh well! For Wilson - I remember you. Steve
Damn it! I can't participate in this thread anymore. Really. Remembering these moving scenes and watching them on youtube has me tearing up like a baby. Anyway, the ending scene of Man On Fire with Denzel Washington. The_Munchmaster
The death yesterday of Pete Postlethwaite reminded me of the closing scene of 'In The Name Of The Father', which definitely fits this thread. RgUWn0gVpq0
