soongmak
Just watched this live rendition of Hocus Pocus by Focus on US TV in 1973, and I was like WTF? I've never seen any music this insane on national TV! Just watch Thijs van Leer, he's either on drugs or just plain mental. Either way, they rock! :bangit: RFDW9b_ejfI

Mekong
OK probably the most famous Dutch band of all time formed in 1974, the fact the family had emigrated to America at that time is irellevent. Alex and Eddie and now Wolfgang plays with them 73sKNUa4M-E
khunsanuk
Hi, One of my favorite bands. Have very good memories of the launch of 'Balance', 1 hour live concert at an invitation only party in a small-ish bar, only about 300 people or so there. Very cool. Sanuk! Great live version. Insane and rockin'. The old US TV shows of live rock had some great moments. What was the one on Friday nights? Midnight Special? Mekong
Nugent is playing his Gibson J200 in this track. Fuck it I am off looking for one in Madrid, nothing like a new guitar to sooth the nerves.
