Must say the Oriental is way up there...go there next week..

 

Tonight we are off to the Grand Hyatt Erawan ..haven't been there for some time..looking forward to the meal..

Well located hotel ..next to Erawan shrine and short walk to Central World.

 

The most compact of all the buffets we have been to so far ..and the staff we found to be aloof to say the least..pics..

Hilton ..revisited

 

Just some pics from the Hilton bar and buffet dinner last night ...3900tb for two plus two drinks on the top floor JW and diet cokes 705tb for the two drinks ...the view was great however :neener:

In a similar vein, but not quite as expensive is the Le Meridien Hotel Sunday "brunch" buffet in Chiang Rai.

At 600B (500 for regulars and card holders) a head it's remarkably good value with sushi and smoked salmon putting in a regular appearance.

They have regular "themes" Chinese, Japanese, Indochinese, northern and southern European...

Excellent fresh juices and coffee included. Spectacular desert trolley.

A long way to go for Sunday lunch but highly recommended if you're there anyway.

Will keep it in mind ..have not been up that way for a long time..spent a lot of time in Mae Chan several years ago..
