zen4dummies
KS, Did you get one? I am also interested in a Tab. There seems to be no need for a SIM and the WiFi model should suit me fine. I have an iPod Touch 2nd gen that is very limited due to the size and battery charge life. This would be addition to my Kindle which is my favorite gadget. Amazon sells Tabs for about $350 (WiFi model)and I can get it shipped through my stateside address with out charging me a duty. zen
khunsanuk
Hi, "Did you get one?" No, my wife decided she liked the 8.9" best, so we are waiting for that one. Sanuk!
danno6
My gf got one....the only shortcoming she found with it so far is that Android does not support Skype with video (voice only is OK). One of the main reasons she bought it was to use it for skype, so she is a little pissed...
khunsanuk
Hi, That's odd as I believe they show Skype with video in the commercials / promovids. Sanuk!
danno6
Well, like I said that was one of the main reasons she bought it - to communicate with her family back in the Philippines. There is voice, but no video.
