Nervous God
People have no idea that the weighing of silver rings when they buy them in Chaing Mai etc means NOTHING, Silver is essentially a cheap metal when making jewelery, Anyone want to buy stunning silver rings etc, I can recommend Angel Silver in Chaing Mai - the designer sadly dying soon it looks like, a great guy, and stunning art works not expensive and real silver
Bangkoktraveler
When I buy silver jewelry I buy by weight. Right now, sterling silver is almost prohibitive to sell in the USA.

Nervous God
Given it's a lot lower price than gold, and should be, it's prob a better investment in that to double your money will be a easier buy in, and quicker to happen maybe.
Bangkoktraveler
I bought a considerable amount of silver jewelry back when it was $6 to $7 an ounce. I got enough to 'sit' on for several more years. But when it is all sold, then the problem begins.

Bangkoktraveler
"They" claim that silver will go to $100/oz. Maybe. If silver goes to $100 an ounce I will not be surprised a gallon of gas will be $10.00 also.
LizardKing
"They" claim that silver will go to $100/oz. You think the Hunt bros are gonna try it again? That they didn't learn their lesson? Well, the rules are now in their favour, so they could do it nowadays IMHO. And they are still alive... Wouldn't surprise me at all. After all, the USA is extremely good at failing to learn from history.
