Specialist Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 Encore, at certain times of the day I have trouble getting a cab driver from anywhere on (lower) Suk who is willing to take on the madness involved in getting to Pantip or somewhere over there. Difficult to imagine what that particular trip will be like in 10-20 years time, but I'm sure some folk felt that way in 2000. Sadly, there were right ! Suggestion: Take the skytrain (BTS) to Siam Paragon, then catch a cab from there up to Pantip. The worst of the mess as I remember it is between lower Suk and Ratchaprasong intersection, and especially on the main north-south road through said intersection (runs in front of Central World, down from Pratunam Plaza).
