Beth Chapman, of 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' fame, dies at 51

Beth Chapman, who was partners with Duane "Dog" Chapman both onscreen and off, has died after a battle with cancer. She was 51.

The announcement was made by Dog Wednesday on Twitter, days after a choking emergency led to her being hospitalized and placed in a medically-induced coma. Her advanced lung cancer — stage IV — led to her having difficulty breathing, so her family gathered by her bedside in Honolulu — and requested prayers from fans.

Ah, so.  I see.  Cav's got a kickstand.  Congrats, you must've won the genetic lottery - I mean, you know, 50-50, I guess...

Thanks for the Teddy Bear reference - I've been in a 'missing Thailand' phase for about a week, haven't been since January 2018 - new world record! - so glad to find somethings that feed my nostalgia in various ways.

Ginger Baker: Legendary Cream drummer dies aged 80

Ginger Baker, one of the most innovative and influential drummers in rock music, has died at the age of 80.

A co-founder of Cream, he also played with Blind Faith, Hawkwind and Fela Kuti in a long and varied career.

His style combined the lyricism of jazz with the crude power of rock. One critic said watching him was like witnessing "a human combine harvester".

But he was also a temperamental and argumentative figure, whose behaviour frequently led to on-stage punch-ups...
