sanukdee
I think they offer a 20% discount for stays of 30 days or longer. Maybe that is how you were able to get a room for 850 baht?
New Petchburi Pete
NanaTours is located inside the hotel just beyond the reception desk. This place is a must stay for any newbie. I know many who will only stay at the Nana. They like the laundry and the breakfast buffet. The only floor to avoid is the one from which room service operates ... the 4th I believe. Never listen to the taxi drivers in front of the hotel! The Goldan Beer Bar is a great place for people watching. Nana Disco is a great place after things get going late at night. We drop into the restaurant every so often as a couple of their dishes are actually pretty good for the money. A couple of years back I stayed in room 993 which had a great view looking up Soi 3, and also the entrance to NEP!
New Petchburi Pete
I forgot to mention that you can avoid the two smaller beds simply by requesting one large bed when you e-mal jaruwan.
sanukdee
I'm not a newbie and Nana Hotel is still my favorite for all the reasons you stated. The reasonably priced same day laundry service is hard to find in a hotel. I like the restaurant and room service too. Not to mention location location location. I've only stayed on the third floor and have heard that water pressure can be a problem on the upper floors. Is this true?
New Petchburi Pete
Never had a problem with water pressure on the upper floors. Also, inquire as to whether or not a particular floor is being renovated. If so, the noise will be quite distracting!
