hand made bags? walking sticks?

of course, there's the weekend market and places like mbk, but is there a place that you'd recommend that makes hand-made products? i'd be interested in hand-made bags and maybe a hand-made walking stick.

 

an example of a bag that looks pretty good but which is expensive is this one:

as you can imagine, i'm not excited about shelling out $160 for a damn bag but i wouldn't be surprised if some artisan in bkk can make a decent bag for a fraction of the price.

 

same goes for, say, a walking stick. i bought one once in chiang mai and it was really good. i still have it. it's like a cue stick; you can unscrew it and have it in two pieces for easy transport.

 

anyway, i really like hand-made stuff so if you can recommend a place, i'm all ears.
