radioman
I have a couple of metal boxes I need painting. Couple of people have suggested car paint shops as possible sources. I'm slightly wary given that they only seem to know about high gloss lacquered finish, as found on cars but what I need is a slightly flatter finish. I'm not too bothered about colour matching as I think they will be able to do that very well. Just interested to find a local (Bangkok) source who can do this sort of thing. I'm happy to pay a Thai months wages (or more) for the 2 pieces to be painted if I can find a good source. Any ideas?
Ckrisg
A good car painter will be able to achieve the finish you want, go with that
radioman
Thanks, I'll have have to try and get a local car paint shop to do what I want. Have a few near home and hopeful one at least will be able to accommodate me. Maybe helpful to learn the Tai words for gloss, lacquer, satin and matt.
