Bangkoktraveler
When it comes to 'American' food, I generally gravitate to Foodland. The price is cheap. You get served fast...... Just like in a greasy spoon restaurant in the USA.

Just like in a greasy spoon restaurant in the USA. Foodland Soi 16 is best described as a long walk towards Asoke from Nana, turn right Asoke, duck up the next lane that veers off on the left and you find a Foodland. It's not as good though. Nice market beside the foodland with good clothes for your bed warmer Du Jour. Black Balls
Twin
Sent an email to Foodland regarding the Soi 5 reopening, and amazingly in less than 2 hours I received the following reply: Dear xxxxx We are now waiting for the last confirmation from the cool system equipment vendor. But we think the possible re-opening target date can be around the end of December or the beginning of January 2012. Foodland Team is looking forward to serve you and the community very soon Thank you for shopping with us. Best Regards, xxxxxxxxxx I'll believe it when I see it, but I was encouraged by the quick reply.
