Drinking Water Supply During Floods

Hi,

"In Sing Buri, tambon Ton Pho in Muang district and tambon Hua Pa in Phromburi district reported the DO level at 0.0-1.0mg/L, while Suphan Buri's Bang Pla Ma district reported 1.6-5mg/L."

What the hell is the point of printing something like that in a newspaper without any reference to what that means? I'll bet less than 1% of people reading it would have even the slightest idea.

"I don't know if this affects you"

No idea either. Luckily we still have enough bottled water / pepsi, so we'll just stick to that instead for now.

Sanuk!

:hmmm:

Bang Sue district office is not that far from me. Which klong is he talking about - Klong Prapha? It is moving faster than I have ever seen before. It has spilled into surrounding areas, but just looks like ordinary flood waters. Note that the city's water comes from this canal - and is then purified.

Klong Prapha last week. It is about 10cm higher right now, not that much.
