Thai 360 Several Years Back

Sweet Jesus, I actually *need* a good chiropractor. Made the mistake of going to Wat Po in the belief that what they did was a 'poor mans chiropractor' - they show absolutely no mercy and I left feeling relieved but a long way from 'better'. I used to laugh at old farts who complained about their 'aching backs' - not any more. One decent set of muscle spasms is enough to convert you to their way of thinking.

I still have a peak when I am on my way to BKK. From my time when I reported what was going on I learnt one thing and just like everywhere else history in BKK repeats itself. Same mistakes, same problems, same successes in fact same same - just a different person in a different place

And Flash knows it all - hell he even talks about the floods of whenever like it was only the other day and that is something new.

I maybe be holding an informal book lunch party of Dec 8 (Thursday) at Queen Vic if I am all who think they can remember are welcome - will confirm

So I am off to go to a bar full of women who want my money for providing a service I am not sure I need that often - you see same same.

I was at Wat Po around 2004 and still remember it well. I found the massage horrible. It was more like brutal and painful attack on my muscles and joints. Didn't enjoy it at all. help.gif

I'll make it if I can. Hopefully the university will be dried enough to open by then though. I've been loaded with classes on Thursdays. :p

But it still has a huge rep, not only with tourists but the average Thai. At least that was my understanding - if I was being conned so that Ms CP could hang out at the temple while I was being tortured inside, it was an elaborate ruse worthy of her Machiavellian ways. At least Wat Po is a Buddhist temple and I was out of the sun - hanging around Erawan in the midday sun didnt do much for me.

Well, most back problems self resolve in abt 4-weeks. But, even with the discomfort, the best thing you can do is walk around; remaining sedentary and in bed just lengthens the healing process!

Now for a good chiro, I'd suggest Dr. Oat. He's Thai (grad from UCLA then Chiro Univ), fluent in English and excellent.

He was a classmate of mine and was top of the class!

His location was 89/4 Sukhumvit Soi-38 BKK. I presume he is in the same office, but call first: 02-392-1400 02-381-7758

I have a problem with the spongy cartlidge material in my lower back, I recall in between vertebrae 2 and 3, and 3 and 4. One is essentially missing completely and the other very badly worn down. Advice of my Dr was absolutely no golf, twisting is the worst, minimise walking and certainly no jogging as the transmission of energy through the legs would make matters worse. Was this wrong? I was advised to increase 3 specific activities to improve this condition, swimming, rowing and fucking. I take my doctors advice.

I'm not convinced that the 'average Thai' would know a good massage if it jumped up and bit them on the bum.

Indeed what Thai's I know, especially the ones educated at less than Thai masters degree level, know about anything seems to be minimal. I think it's all part of the plan but it can be painful when asking for information about something, especially a revered and specialist subject of their country, to be met with either blank looks or seriously and obviously wrong information. Not really surprising I suppose to see them scammed as often or maybe more than us.

So whilst having a Fuck in a Rowing boat you capsize and Swim to shore.

That would be entertaining in Lumpini Park.

This would indeed be a good day, at least so far as my Dr is concerned. Not all bad in my book either. Mind I'm not a good swimmer and my rowing, whilst improving, is hardly world class, as for the fucking, ah well, I consider that a strength, naturally. I'll go with that.

Cheers
