Ever been to San Francisco? The cable cars are great fun.

 

In the early 1980s Bangkok talked about bringing back the trams as a tourist attraction. They would run in the GP and Sanam Luang area. Unfortunately, they could find only one old tram. It was being used - minus the wheels - as a children's play house by a former employee. They finally dropped the idea and instead made those little buses that look like the trams. It ain't the same.

 

I missed the trams by almost 5 years. :(
