1. Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) Hajj Terminal

This must be a joke, you have to be a Muslim to use the Hajj terminal and it is only open for 3 weeks a year during the Hajj pilgrimage.

8. Madrid (Spain) Barajas Terminal 4

Did not impress me

I would put Changi above Incheon and surprised Frankfurt is not on there for Europe

what about koh samui?....as in best....

i like dubai even though it's a big place and takes ages to get from A to B.

i'm now used to Swampypoon and have no problems with it.

the last airport which i had to spend time in was Shanghai and not the most pleasant of experiences, but that tale will be told later.

but i liked Bangkok's DM with it's walk from International to Domestic.

Frankfurt Airport terminals are extremely boring. The shopping and food are very basic there. Once you went through passport control for boarding it gets even worse.

And the whole structure of the airport is cluttered and confusing.

A beautiful airport is Kansai Airport near Osaka. Build on an artificial island by Renzo Piano it has a very pleasing and relaxing atmosphere. In contrary to Kansai Airport, the arrival terminal at Narita airport has the feeling of on east european airport in the 1980s...

Adelaide is appalling in International Departures.

I know they only have a few flights a day internationally but they could try a little harder.

Sydney is probably the best in Australia. Plenty of shopping and eating places.

I've never disliked Swampy, you go in, pass through immigration, have something to eat at Burger King, sit and read your book or electronic device until the plane goes.... what's to dislike other than that you are leaving Thailand?

but only Terminal 2 and 3 in Changi, Terminal 1 is fecking terrible

Frankfurt is fine for those who like a long walk from and to the gates (longer than from E10 to domestic departures in Swampy)

surprisingly the new airports in Delhi and Bangalore are not mentioned. they are so much better than the old dumps!

Also liked Kansai Airport, pretty nice. Glad to see the new Inchon airport among the best, but wish they had room in the best list for the Tampa Airport, one of my favorites in the US.

OTOH, real happy that Newark's Liberty airport and especially Manila's Terminal 1 made the "worst" list.. :yikes:
