IF you were on death row and IF you were allowed a last meal, what would you choose?.

i'm a person of simple tastes and would choose something i love.

cheese on toast with branston pickle smeared all over, then 2 fried or poached eggs placed on top and then baked beans poured all over.

and not forgetting lashings of tomato sauce.... :tophat:

and IF alcohol allowed i would choose a nice pint of ice cold cider.

Let's see now. :hmmm:

To start some Scottish scallops (hand dived not dredged) on Stornoway black pudding with a pea puree,

then a 24 day hung Aberdeen Angus sirloin steak with a pepper sauce, baby carrots and dauphinoise potatoes, followed by

Cranachan (a cream, whisky and honey desert with fresh raspberries and toasted oatmeal).

The above would be accompanied by appropriate red and white wines, a different one for each course (of course).

Finally Scottish oatcakes with mature cheddar and a bottle of 16yo Lagavulin. :drunk:

:rip:
