I did well at the ChangThong (or was it ThongChang) on soi diana nr LK Metro cnr. Fantastic staff, great rooms, 1200/night. Lift, food not bad either. I'm racist - no question - but as a group they are ruder than the Chinese/Korean/Japanese groups. The Russian women, in particular, just seemed angry whenever they spoke - I dont see that going down well in Thailand. Still, money talks and they are clearly greasing palms somewhere. (I'm not letting the rest of us off the hook, but I didnt see a single fight in the week or so I was in Patts - not even so much as a pushing match.
