what's this thing about English newspapers?.

there are many English Newspers widely available from many different countries even if you have to pay the imported price.

my tiny 2* hotel will supply any paper i want on request each morning, ready for me to pick up at my leisure, albeit normally a day late.

i'm sure your higher market hotels can supply the same service?.

i rarely buy anything to read apart from the Nation because if i want to find out any news i just access it on the internet in the comfort of my room.

In Pattaya, not far from the Intown Holiday Hotel on Soi Honey Inn is a newer hotel called Orn Place. Across the street from where the old Honey Inn used to be. (Now Honey Inn is a huge fancy massage place.) Rooms not too bad. Elevator, free wifi, A/C, big bathroom and balcony. No pool or breakfast. No real restaurant. You can eat an "all you can eat" breakfast buffet at Diana Dragon on Soi Diana for 115 baht or at the Apex and Lek for 150 baht. The price for a room at the Orne Place is around 600 baht off season and around 800 baht high season. (No website yet.)

Privi Hotel is a brand new hotel opened just recently. On the corner of Pattaya 2nd Road and Soi Yamoto. In a good location for walking to many things. Prices are lower than other hotels of similar quality. Has a restaurant (never looked, desk said it was buffet style.) Pool on roof.

A whole crap load of cheap hotels on Soi Buakaow starting around 450 for a room with A/C, free wifi, private toilet maid service, etc.
