Anyone have a clue where you can buy testosterone patches or cream in Bangkok or Pattaya? For the youngsters on the board, you don't need them yet, but for us old farts, they would sure make life more interesting.

To be honest I didn't even knew that there existed testosterone patches. However, Viagra , Cialis.... are classified as narcotics in Thailand. You must go to a hospital, get a prescription from a doctor and buy in the hospital's pharmacy.

So I guess it's the same with testosterone patches.

Illegal viagra and cialas and so on you can buy almost everywhere in small pharmacies in Pattaya, in Bangkok in pharmacies near the nightlife scene. If you don't find ask any bargirl they know. I don't know the demand for the patches but if it's big they can fix, if not they can order (in that case bring the empty box so they can read the active substances and you will probably get an indian copy).

Nope, never heard of them either or testosterone cream, not that I would need them even if they exist.

Out of interest though, where would you stick them? On your arm like those nicotine patches or would you wrap them around your cock (depending obviously on the size of the patches or the size of your cock)?! :dunno:

I think they are/were marketed under the name "androgen" in the states, don't know if that helps...

I've checked some swedish medical websites, both men and women use them. I haven't checked the female use, but as Munchie assumed for a man as close as possible to the cock and preferably on it. The female use I can't even imagine but maybe put it on the back of your old wife so you can go out butterfly....

I've tried Cialis 2 times with bad result both times - and it was 10 years ago or so.

Years ago a friend gave me half a viagra tablet from the States. What it did was make my recovery time like that of a 17 year old again. :cheerleader:

So I bought some locally ... and it didn't do a damn thing. Never tried it since.

Says Google ...

<< Among the first preparations designed for skin application was Testoderm which employs a testosterone containing patch applied directly to the testicle. Due to inconvenience and discomfort this product has not been very popular. Another patch is Androderm which can be placed on any area of skin on the body which is free of hair. The adhesive on the patch occasionally causes a skin rash, and the patch itself is cumbersome. Up to one third of individuals using a testosterone patch experience some discomfort.

Avoiding the inconvenience of a patch is Androgel which was approved by the FDA in 1999. Testim is another testosterone gel product. The gel is rubbed directly into the skin every day without the need for a patch. Many men find this the easiest and least irritating of the transdermal preparations of testosterone. Studies have shown high levels of patient satisfaction with gel product. In a study conducted at Duke University researchers found that men with testosterone levels less than 300 ng/dl treated with Androgel (testosterone gel) had significant improvement in sexual function, muscle strength and lean body mass. Overall satisfaction was better with Androgel than with the testosterone patch. >>

I've never heard of any checking, technically if you bring a prescription from your doctor it's legal in any country. Not too much but of course for the time you stay in Thailand - normally 30 days.

on my last visit i filled in the entry/exit visa on the plane and i was prepared to declare certain food stuffs i had in my possession.

nothing exciting, except to the person they were intended for but i was not sure on the regulations of food items.

but i saw nothing on the form saying i had to declare anything like that, but as the items were small and cost little i was prepared to give them up if needed.

on another note in 2010 i was re-diagnosed with a medical problem which required an injection of a certain drug on the day of my flight home and the day prior to it.

i carried the needles/syringes with the drug inside in the open in my carry on along with 2 letters from my 2 hospital consultants explaining my condition and why i was carrying the stuff.

i saw no point in trying to hide it.

i was also provided with a sharps container to safely dispose of the needles and syringes and when i asked in a pharmacy what to do?,they said no problem and took them from me for disposal and thanked me for my dilligence in having common sense and not just throwing the entire contents away in any old bin along the street.

More or less the same for me some years ago, I threw it away in the bin in my hotel room and had no problem. But it was prescribed drugs. Newbies must know what the law is in Thailand and how to get legal stuff. If they instead want to go for illegal, their business and not my problem.
