normally travel Air Asia internally and because they have so many desks available i normally plead ignorance at a first-class desk and ask if i'm in the right place?.

never been a problem and a boarding pass issued and i'm on my way, without having to queue at the economy lines.

yes i have been told i was in the wrong place and told to go to the economy line, but not often.

but once in BKK i'm easy to please as i know i've arrived and any little waiting around is not a problem.

Happens to me every time too - Nok Air, Air Asia, Cebu Pacific - I just stroll up to the First Class lines and they always let me check in first, normally give me free access to the lounge, extra baggage weight and some times if I'm lucky, even let me short time the stewardress - but that doesn't happen that often.

unfortunately i have to tell you Pom Michael and Sayjann, that at Air Asia, Nok etc. all modest and disciplined passengers, who queue at the normal economy class desk, get a voucher for 77 USD for their next flight. those who aggressively and arrogantly go with a cattle class ticket to the First class counter, will be blacklisted and their luggage will get lost on a random flight! Now you know, Sayjann, why your luggage was lost last time in Phuket! :neener:

did you never wait in a slow queue (some staff works slower than others and some people need longer time to get done) and had the feeling that in other queues people arriving after you got served faster than you?

what is annoying is when you pick the smallest queue and it turns out to be the desk with the slowest official who seem to be slow compared to others.. :shakehead

i never act in any of the ways you describe, just as a confused toutist and most times it works.

never lost luggage before over the years and while annoying at the time and stressing me out,not the biggest problem i could have come across.

you mean they show mercy with you?

poor confused tourist, let him jump the queue, escort him through fasttrack to the gate; upgrade him into the cockpit!

you play your role very well! and there are always new staff there so nobody will remember the scam and the scammer!

no,i don't get fasttracked and you know that very well.

you may call it a scam, but i call it trying my luck.

i have been told i'm at the wrong desk and directed elsewhere and i just apologise for wasting their time and join the right queue.

if you don't try something which might enhance your trip then how do you know it won't work?.

yes i'm trying to pull a fast one but if it works then that's good for me.

it's not although i'm trying to commit a henious crime.

I hope that you don't try the same thing while driving (trying to speed down a lane that merges). I'm an expert at cutting that type of driver off, particularly if they are talking on a cell phone.

i'm with you.

when i see a sign that says lanes are mergeing i get into the open lane and drivers who speed up and try and push in get no joy from me.

i have observed the signs informing me what is happening up ahead and am following what is recommended.

i too try as hard to stop the idiots from pushing in because they think THEY MUST get that extra car length ahead of someone else.

but i think a slightly different scenario here?.

you have not understood the system of flexible and smooth traffic flow in thailand, which also provides the driver the opportunity to feel well and engage in other activities while driving such as talking on the cell phone, dress up or change clothes, complete her/his make up, babysitting, feed the pet, get/give a bj etc.
