Thai School Fights

Came across these two videos in the Thai news recently which were doing the rounds. The videos don't show the girls faces clearly or identify them, so felt it ok to post up.

Not sure what the background to the first video was about, but apparently the 2nd one (in a toilet) was secondary school girls fighting over a boyfriend. The bigger girl tells the smaller girl ito prostrate herself at her feet and the matter will be over, but then proceeds to assault her.

Their so-called friends crowd round and rather than try to break it up, cheer it on, film it and put the videos up on Youtube. wtf :dunno:

We have the same tendency in Sweden with somebody beating somebody else just to get a video on youtube, but in about 95 % of the cases it's just acting.

I don't find the video with school girls in toilet at all - all 3 links are similar.

The others are older girls - there's a engagement or wedding ring on one, no school uniforms and had it been real I think you could find the brain of girl on the ground beside her on the ground. IMO it's like wrestling just acting!

The toilet video is the 2nd video in the 2nd link.

All the Thai news links to the street fight (entitled "นัà¸à¸¨à¸¶à¸à¸©à¸²à¸¢à¸à¸žà¸§à¸à¸™à¸±à¸”ตบà¸à¸±à¸™à¸à¸¢à¹ˆà¸²à¸‡à¹‚หด") describe them as students นัà¸à¹€à¸£à¸µà¸¢à¸™.

Here the girl in the white shirt is described as wearing as students shirt:

...เข้าตบตีหà¸à¸´à¸‡à¸ªà¸²à¸§à¸à¸µà¸à¸„นที่สวมเสื้อคล้ายเสื้อนัà¸à¸¨à¸¶à¸à¸©à¸²...

Exactly the same BS here in Oz, although often not in school uniforms because that makes it easier to identify them. Parents keep bleating about it, cops keep issuing stern warnings about arresting people - blah, blah, blah. Teenagers brains are still developing (apparently ..) and they often seem to have the classic traits of psycopathy - a total obsession with self and lack of empathy for others. Throw in media filled with violence and its easy pop psychology to join those dots.

What stuns me is the amount of publicity that is generated when an Auatralian dies from neglect or violence overseas compared to the constant roll call of fatalities in our own cities. I had to bite my lip when one of the bitches I used to work with started raving on about how cheap life is 'over there' - let her walk the streets of Sydney or Melbourne at night and come back and tell us (assuming she isn't on life support ..) how much value the scum who walk those streets considered her fat arse to be.

Stop the fucking planet - I need to get off. :angryfire:

Australia - a 'safe' destination

Compared to the US, this will seem like a modest list, but we have no gun culture and so-called 'gangs' were responsible for very few of these crimes. Even the Milperra massaacre was bikie-on-bikie - sadly, an innocent was caught in the crossfire.

The Wikipedia entry is far too restrained, but the bastards who killed Anita Cobby and the other victims in each case should have been publicly hanged. Some might argue that I've grabbed a number of isolated crimes from a long period of Australian history (70s onward), but its no secret that the Police couldnt get convictions for all of the murders they attributed to some of our serial killers. In one of the worst cases, the bushland lining the road between Rockhampton and Yeppoon is said to contain the remains of a number of women who went missing when 'Loony Lenny' Fraser was released from prison - the cops just couldnt get him to take them to their gravesites.

no gun culture

Yes, gun culture as in US and Mexico or Thailand. But actually the numbers of guns per capita is higher in many country with less violence, in Scandinavia (except Denmark) yes, but in Switzerland (almost) every male has a machine gun and ammo in home - I think in more than 20 years had 1! (one!) shooting there.

I might add that the 'grab her hair and try to ram her head into the pavement' is a classic in bargirl-on-bargirl fights. I saw one fight where they had to stop because each girl had her hands so entangled in the other's long hair that they couldnt do much else beyond screaming at one another.

I've seen something much worse. One BG I know (I know the mamasan too) went with her new BF (=customer) to Pattaya Beach. He was drunk and started to throw away coins in the sand, the BG told him to stop as he insulted the king by doing that, he didn't listen and she used her shoe to beat, soon there was a big crowd around. After 10 minutes or so 2 policemen came and asked what she was doing. She explained that she was beating because he insulted the king, the policemen said Yes, OK, go on and went away. He went to hospital in an ambulance and stayed more than a week. And I never barfined that girl again. Notice he was over 100 kg and she around 43-45....

Sure, but how *drunk* was he ? There are a couple of vids on Youtube of Thai BGs supposedly using 'Muay Thai' to beat up Farang guys - in each case, the Farang looks so drunk he couldnt fend off a Kindergarten class. I'm not saying there arent some out there who cant fight, but a lot of the stories are wildly embellished. I also question whether some Farang are willing to hit a woman, even when she is clearly intent on doing them harm - I have had to stand there and take it when Ms CP lost the plot and wanted to 'kill' me - they dont like it when you laugh at them - and she is taller and stronger than most of her sisters. Its the insane look in their eyes that are, far and away, the scariest part of their arsenal. She backed off completely when I took the tip of the knife, put it against my solar plexus and said 'Do it !' - the light went out of her eyes and something resembling sanity returned. It could easily have ended badly, but I knew she didnt want to have to talk to the cops about how a Farang had managed to impale himself on the knife she had been seen waving at him minutes earlier.

I did see a Thai female MT fighter in action here in Oz some years ago - even though she lost on points to her Australian opponent she gave as good as she got and won a lot of respect for her ability to fight right up to the final bell - the other girl was 1/2 a chromosome from being a bloke, IMO. There is a big difference between someone at that level and a girl who might have had some training in her youth only to park her arse on a barstool for 12 hours a day. I'd back MT girl against any BG I've seen, assuming no weapons and both were sober, but I doubt that she goes to bars looking for fights. Its all academic, though, and things happen so fast on the street - I'd better leave the wagers to the chain-smoking Thais at Lumpini Stadium.
