ONE guy supposedly had a problem with one of the hookers. So, they are all "stupid"? Be real. Tilac bar was (is?) a sub-office of the U.S. DEA on any given night. Are those guys stupid also? I think you're the only one saying there was a 'supposed' problem with one of the girls. You're right, the guys in the SS are not refuting it, neither are investigators. So it pretty reasonable to assume that whatever the variations in internet stories may be -- there's a clear consistency that these fellas picked up the girls, brought them back, haggled over price till it was was escalated to police. Nobody, not a single person involved with the Secret Service on any side of the political fence, has said this did not happen or is not factual. So yes, I would say the main Secret Service haggler is a moron of the fucking highest order. What's stupid to me is calling this an anomaly - it's probably been going on since the inception of the secret service. So what. When I was in Europe the challenge wouldn't have been to find a serviceman that slept with a bargirl, it would've been to find on that hadn't. Big deal. But through the collective stupidity of these fuckwits trying to push around locals, yeah, they got a nasty surprise when those ignorant bargirls decided to bite back didn't they? Now, IF the guy agreed, yeah...he's a fucking idiot. As to the others, I wouldn't call them idiots. Sure, I'd say they used poor judgement. And a form of "mob mentality" with a catalyst being alcohol seems to have been involved. Of course, everybody on this board at all times has used perfect judgement when drinking and mongering, no? I just heard on the radio parts of her interview so am sure we will hear the full story tonight. The press might not be going overboard - she was even laughing that she could have robbed him, but being a good escort, didn't. Other agents took up a collection after the one agent would only give her $50...so she got 250 but that was still not the "dinero" they agreed on! Guys dancing on the bar and lifting their shirts to show off their ab muscles! These guys really know how to blend in and provide only the best security for the President and when a Colombian bargirl calls you stupid it has gotta hurt. Kind of reminds me about the BATF Davidian standoff in Waco Texas. The breakfast buffet at the main hotel in town was crowded early in the morning with heavily armed men yet it was hard to figure out how Koresh knew a raid was coming.
