limbo
I ate one fikandel in my life, when I was a young kid and had to throw up afterwards, never ate one again, so that's no big loss I'm more interested in some stamppot and variations on the theme, the kroketten and bitterballen sound good as well. I may be in PTY in July..........

BelgianBoy
Ever found andijvie in Thailand? thats the only one you like then ? if so, how is the Pattaya guy going to solve the problem ?
limbo
It's a catch 22 situation BB, 'andijvie' is not the only one I like but it's my fave. I'm sure it can be found but not on Samui, haven't seen/found it yet. Have made various stamp pots over the years but find it in general too hot for stamp pot here. BelgianBoy
totally right on that one..... my fav are tomatos, carrots, spinach and leak.....andijvie a close 5th... then again, when moving to LOS I will be only a few km away from a Villa Market outlet, and I certainly hope to make it a few times, hot weather or not BB
limbo
Tomato stamp pot? That's a new one! Carrots, spinach and leak should be no probs. 'Hete bliksem' made with 'appel puree', that's a trad Dutch treat but not really faved by me.
khunsanuk
Hi, Never heard of tomato stamppot either. Also agree on the 'hete bliksem', don't care for that either. Sanuk!
