Central Scrutinizer
A favorite some years ago. Love the lyrics and the attitude. :-) And Steve Vai's guitar solo at the end. Amazing guitar work. Play it LOUD! 555555. http://youtu.be/pfE_98yy2iw http://youtu.be/pfE_98yy2iw
Central Scrutinizer
I can always listen to some Al Dimeola as well, any time, anywhere. Saw him many times live. The concerts done with Paco Deluca and McLaughlin were amazing. Al's a favorite.
Central Scrutinizer
An album and songs I listened to for decades, and still do. If you appreciate guitar rock and jazz 'Love Devotion and Surrender' should definitely be in your music collection. Carlos Santana and John McLaughlin, two of the best rock guitarists of their time. This collaboration of theirs back in the 70's just blew me away. The way they would switch playing the leads with each other seamlessly was incredible. Smoke a doobie and put on the headphones folks. This one's a keeper! :-) http://youtu.be/vmM2qXDS9wc And Al and Paco. Beautiful guitar work and band backing. http://youtu.be/fuuRWKnUq-k
Central Scrutinizer
And Al alone on the Les Paul. Awesome stuff in the 70's. Saw him with this band a number of times. Unforgetable nights at concert. Didn't get any better back then.

Mekong
Not so much Youtube since I cannot find all episodes on there but available via torrent download is a series entitled Seven Ages of Rock. OK made by the BBC so is rather British Biased, but some interesting anecdotes in it such as how one week after Landing in London Hendrix got his wish and Jammed with Clapton and Cream, Clapton walked off stage in disbelief asking "Did he just play what I heard?" For anyone even semi interested in Rock Music I highly recommend it as a Download. Full breakdown of each episode at http://en.wikipedia....en_ages_of_rock
