robaus
A Vietnam vet friend of mine who enjoys jungle trekking would like to pay his respect to the diggers who worked on this stretch of the Burma railway by walking it if it's possible. Thanks for your help.
Mekong
A Vietnam vet friend of mine who enjoys jungle trekking would like to pay his respect to the diggers who worked on this stretch of the Burma railway by walking it if it's possible. Thanks for your help. There are quite a few trekking tours to Hellfire pass, if your mate is an Aussie then maybe the 3 day ANZAC tour in April would interest him. Thanks for your help Mekong. My mate's actually a Kiwi Vietnam vet. I followed the ANZAC links and Googled more using trek, Namtok, Hellfire Pass as keywords. Most seem to get you to Namtok to have a look around then transport you to have a walk about at Hellfire Pass. He's after something a bit more adventurous. He's met up with farang bushwalkers in Pattaya who have Thai wives, so maybe they can help him further. Thanks again.
