khunsanuk
Hi, No idea about the species, but see one similar to the one in the top pic quite often around the house here. Sanuk!
Mekong
The first image looks to me like an Indochinese Ground Squirrel Second one is your bog standard red squirrel, keep your eyes open and you see more of them than cats in Bangkok. The_Munchmaster
Kids have seen Singapore and night Safari there and nothing is very impressive after that. I'm off to Singapore on Tuesday so will definitely go to the zoo.
huumlaar
I'm off to Singapore on Tuesday so will definitely go to the zoo. I like Sillypore a lot, it can be expensive these days but it's still very cheap if you know where to go and eat etc. Lots of fun to be had there too if you're game to get off the tourist beat. Boo Radley
Food's amazing in Singapore. Went there way back in the 90s but still remember the honey chicken and crayfish in gravy. All sold from from hawkers' stalls in a car park.
Horneytorney
yes stick to hawker stalls and family rund chinese restaurants while in Singapore. Western food and hotel restaurants are either very expensive or lousy. I also like the Malaccan food, a mix of malay, chinese etc.
