Palatkik
Much better zoo I find in Thailand is Khao Keow in Cholburi. Animals in more open evironment. Not great, but a big improvement on Dusit for the kids.
The_Munchmaster
Yes, heard of this one and would go down to see it but don't have a car. Getting a taxi there would probably not be too difficult but getting back might be a problem?

Palatkik
Went to Safari World the other week (kids!) and won't be back soon. Too depressing for me. More like a poorly kept safari park with a kids playground attached for the animals to do shows! Nauseating but very popular with the Indian tourists for some reason. Watching a bunch of tourists dancing to a high volume disco in front of a dolphin tank left me traumatized. Animal welfare groups take note!
