New Petchburi Pete
Hey Folks (ancients, newbies, old friends and those surfing here), I would like to wish everyone who celebrates Christmas a very Merry Christmas. May your Holiday Season be joyous and peaceful, and your Christmas experience most meaningful. May all of you have a fantastic New Year, one that's healthy and prosperous. I/we truly miss Thailand and pray that I'll be fortune enough to visit at some point, hopefully, in the not so distant future. TroyinEwa/Perv
An hour and forty-seven minutes into Christmas day here in the northern USA. It's -15C with a windchill of -21C. Merry Fucking Christmas
cavanami
Went to Soi 22 for the Xmas Turkey Dinner! Small turnout, compared to other years, maybe 25 people and no one sitting outside...maybe too cold...25C is tough to handle here in the winter time Lots of yummy food!!! Flashermac
I'd just about decided to stay in, rather than fight the traffic. (It is worse than ever now, just a coincidence that the PT government's easy purchase plan has added 1 million cars to the road!) Then my internet connection up and died. I took myself to dinner at the Ship Inn, everything Christmasy looking - except for the sounds of the Chinese lion dancers outside. (WTF?) An early evening in Cowboy, which was very slow. About 10 pm or so, punters started arriving and filled the place up. Meanwhile, after 2 days without internet connection, I get a call from True today. "We solved the problem. Use can use it again." It was on there end, as usual. Apparently Somchai had tripped over a plug or Somsak flipped the wrong switch. p.s. Pleasantly cool on Christmas day, but it has turned back into summer already.
