163
Hi Does anyone know if there is a bus to Nong Khai from the airport? Cheers
Pescator
There is, but only one departure a day from the near by bus station. From memory it leaves at 8 or 9 pm. Figure about 10 hours ride. It is a pain, really. If I were you I would grab a plane instead. The northern bus station, Mor Chit has regular bus service to NK and Udon, if you are hellbent on travelling by bus.
Flashermac
If he is going to go all the way to Mor Chit, he may as well just go to Hua Lampong and take a train - much pleasanter way to travel. You can get up, move around, order all the cold beer and food you want and even take a sleeper if it is at night..

Guest
Even better, fly Air Asia or Nok to Udon Thani--around 3,000 RT from Don Meuang--and take the 200 baht van (40 min.) from the Udon airport to Nong Khai.
