Flashermac
TMB is a good bank. I have heard a lot of praise for it.
gobbledonk
Whatever TMB's upsides, they have the lowest exchange rate - of the best, I think K-Bank is the only one that supports a network of currency exchange booths. There is a page rattling around one of the backpacker sites where someone actually went to every currency booth at Swampy and their advice is to avoid everything on the Arrivals level, go up to Departures and find the Kasikorn booth. http://bankexchanger...et/default.aspx Looking at that today, I would be crazy not to wait for a Krung Thai or UOB branch to open, but how many times do we just take the path of least resistance and walk to that booth next to NEP ? Hell, I've even changed money at the Nana - hotels have some of the worst exchange rates going, but when you have other priorities ...... Edit: Kasikorn must have read that backpackers post http://www.kasikornbank.com/EN/RatesAndFees/ForeignExchange/Pages/Banner_BestRates.aspx
cavanami
Use Aeon ATM machines, they still do not charge the 150 Baht when pulling money from a foreign bank account.
