I'd recommend Chatuchak on the weekend, or possibly one of the busier BTS stations at rush hour - busy and confusing enough that if you could get yourself just a couple of minutes head start before she notices you're gone, she'd have virtually no chance of finding you in the crowds. Maybe ask her to use the machine to buy BTS tickets, that'll stump her for a bit -- Chatuchak, say you want to buy some juice, you'll meet her at the clock tower. And there it is: you're free.
