Emo / Punk Escort Girls In Bkk?

Recommended Posts

Just Net photos, but the first and last have the advantage of being *real* 'rock chicks - Da Endorphine is Thai and our Muslim lovely is Tantri 'Kotak' from Jakarta. I have no idea when she decided to ditch the headgear in favour of one very long, wild mane of black hair, but she definitely gets into it on stage. I'd imagine that mum and dad must have been more than a little taken aback by the transformation, but I expect that disappeared when they realised the size of her fanba$e.

Saw a really good Thai band in Udon Thani back in 2008 - total surprise given that it's such a backwater - turned out they were 'big stars' doing a tour of Isaan. Makes sense - their money is as good as anyone else - and the whole thing was clearly sponsored by Johnnie Walker : those girls who keep coming around topping up your drink were cute, but kinda blatant. I'm hoping to catch up with quite a few bands when I finally park my arse in Asia next year.

25 hours played in Sydney last week, nice guys, almost went to the show but had a early start at work, on the plane coming home, big crowds in all the venues in Australia.

Totally the wrong gal for this, but picture yourself 'escorting' your current Isaan fave into Thermae in similar fashion ....

As I said - totally the wrong girl and zero makeup - this is a lot closer to what I had in mind:

Black lipstick / mascara / fingernails - the works. Lily Munster, eat your heart out !

Yvonne De Carlo was totally hot - I would totally have gone there back in the 60s, but I expect that there was a lengthy queue of Hollywood stars.

Carolyn Jones was OK, and the Addams Family was probably the funnier of the two (definitely more successful), but De Carlo left a strong imprint on my very young mind.
