YimSiam Posted February 12, 2014 Report Share Posted February 12, 2014 Sure, but "hansum man" is not technically a gender, or gender-related - it's socio-economic category, one step below "have money, ring da bell, jai dee maak maak", and one step above "farang kee niaw"... To use a gender analogy: the 'hansum man' on the street is like a fetus yet to differentiate its sex. He might go either way - cheap charlie, or bell-ringer - and so for the moment, the Hansum Man is treated as pure potential by the girls. So they shout.
