They may not consume a lot of oil " per se " but they certainly like their fried insects... :neener: ....never tried them myself and never will :nono: ....kao pat probably uses a lot of oil also. Not surprising they dont use a lot as its got a high calorific value - not really what you want in a hot climate.

Can you not read?

What a hero and visionary you are! 35 years of experience! To come to collosal and historical conclusion like:

7 Litres = 1400 or 3.835 TSP / day which is 767% higher. Why do you keep posting Crap? It may wash with an Isaan wife or the Japanese but you can't fool me, I have only been involved in Measurement and Control for near on 35 years.

Look how teaspoons (not even 4 of them) become 767% higher of anything.

A bit of sense od reality and 1 day visit to Thailand would tell that bulk of that oil is never actually eaten - it's in the deep fry basins.

There are no decent Thai restaurants in Huntspatch.

You can't get larb moo here. At all.

I was in Austin TX a few weeks ago. There are a few. I hit one place I know about. Decent tom yum gung, good larb moo, very good Thai iced tea.

It is probably the only fix I will get before I land at Swampy in November.
