think_too_mut
First post link not work, second one takes into subscription to Marriott's Newsletter.
dean
That is the trade off. You give Marriott your email address and get their newsletter and receive by email a 50% off coupon for 1nite. I would assume that most BM have a spare email address just for this purpose. think_too_mut
I think it is a rock-bottom season (now) for them and the prices are widely available. Stayed at Hua Hin Marriott this time in in 2004, the prices were like 50-60% off of their high season fares.
YimSiam
Just checked out of Marriott Executive Apartments, soi 24, about $120 a night for a substantial two room suite, good quality stuff, nice bed, friendly if incompetent reception staff - that rate is just amazing anywhere else, still pretty good for Bangkok! And you don't have to give your email... Cheers all, Billy Bob Marriott, aka YimSiam
dean
Would it not be better for $60 a night and take 5 minutes to give Marriot your "extra" email address (I have 4 email addresses and use one of them for this purpose). For what could you use the $60 that you saved while in Bangkok?
YimSiam
Indeed, if possible to combine - I just mean to say that I was struck by the size and quality of the apartment at the cost; if you can get it down further, that's a few more beers or games of pool at nearby soi 22 bars...
