WorldFun Posted November 4, 2013 Report Share Posted November 4, 2013 why are people now mixing up the proposed 500bt TOURIST ENTRY FEE supposedly effective from early next year...with airport taxes (in thailand 700bt->800bt) which ALL AIRPORTS USE to pay for their operating costs lol? surely AOT makes more money from the airport taxes than e.g. the kingpower tax free concessions anyway as for ENTRY FEES Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, China etc still charges for on arrival/pre arrival visas and I don't know how much it really backfired or not when on bali tourism etc when indonesia (re) introduced that ~25$ fee some years back after many years of free arrival? immigration wont let go of their golden overstay fees anyday soon, but as mekong asked how the fuck does an entry fee gets rid of overstayers lol...especially the ones already in the country 5555555555+ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
