Rugby League World Cup 2013

Apart from the fact that teams like 'Italy' are stacked with Australian players (of Italian ancestry...), overall the Cup seems to have been well received by folk in the north of England thus far. My question is simple : will those folk travel to Wembley for the semi-finals, particularly if it comes down to teams-that-arent-England ? I'd imagine that Wembley is an awfully large and draughty stadium in November, especially if you cant fill it with warm bodies :(

The good news for US fans is that they made it to the semi-finals - the bad news is that they will almost certainly get a pasting.

OK - that's a bit unfair, given that League would have the profile of lawn bowls in the US - the Tomahawks improve each time they take the field against top-level opposition. Scotland was also better than many assumed they would be.

A good win but they can't get close to them when playing real rugby. :stirthepo

Wallabies finished their Spring Tour with four wins out of five Tests – defeating Italy, Ireland, Scotland and Wales – with only a narrow loss to England in their first match blotting their record. 20-13 is a converted try difference.
