Flashermac
You mean the government installed by the military junta? Nope. I mean the government installed by Newin, when he got a better deal than Thaksin offered him.
Flashermac
Thaksin's big-time opponent latest victim of political violence Sutin Taratin, one of leaders of People's Army to Overthrow the Thaksin Regime, has become the latest victim of political violence. He was gunned down Sunday outside the Bang Na advance voting station. He was an non-governmental organisaton officer working for Local Development Institute (LDI) and he was close to the former secretary-general of the State Enterprises Labour Relations Confederation, Somsak Kosaisuk. Suthin was one of founders of People's Army to Overthrow the Thaksin Regime, which was established in June of 2013. He was chief of guard of the group when they staged rally at Bangkok's Lumpini Park before the group joined the People's Democratic Reform Committee. Earlier Suthin was former deputy director of New Politics Party, affiliated with yellow-shirt but now-defunct People's Alliance for Democracy, while Somsak was a party leader. Anti-government protest leader Suriyasai Katasila said Suthin was not at all a hardline leader. Suthin's last responsibility before being shot dead was as leader of the rally at Energy Ministry, campaigning for returning energy conglomerate PTT Plc as a state asset, according to Suriyasai. "The death of Suthin is a big loss. It also shows the failure of the government [to handle the situation]" Suriyasai said. http://www.nationmul...i-30225243.html

Specialist
Same should have applied there. Not singling out either side here. Neither's behaviour should have been tolerated. But this one was premeditated and promoted long before it even happened. So was the 2010 Red Shirt protest. Or did you miss the dress rehearsal/practice run in 2009? Flashermac
Nope. He said he could not guarantee that some protesters might do so on their own. And some obviously did.
