From The Nation:

"The meeting mediated by Prayuth was attended by representatives of the red-shirt movement, the government, Pheu Thai, the Democrats, the People's Democratic Reform Committee, the Senate and the Election Commission.

Only representatives of the Senate and the EC were not taken away in the military truck."

Abhisit was arrested? Too bad Chalerm wasn't there.

Michael Yon ...

Now at Aksa road area:

Soldiers told me no Soldiers were hurt, no Red Shirts hurt. Four Reds said one minute ago that there was gunfire for about a minute, and loud pyrotechnics and they thought the Army would kill them all. But they saw no injuries.

Army has been loading them on trucks and taking them to buses and told to go home. A reporter said the Red stage has already been taken away.

For what it's worth. All the Thai TV here In Laos has gone. G'ma is fretting as shes's not able to enjoy her daily dose of Red Rhetoric. But why did they shut the movies down ? Still have CNN via Vietnam. Going to Nong Khai tomorrow. That'll be interesting. 4 months on the passport and a coup. Will report if there's anything to say.
