After Chaikasem said 'No', he declared a power seizure in the meeting room, a source at the meeting said. The source said Prayuth raised the question after the meeting erupted in disputes, with neither side backing down from its stand. Chaikasem was heading the government's team at the meting. Chaikasem told Prayuth, "As of this minute, the government will not resign," according to the source. The Army will occupy all protest venues tonight. Only UDD Red Shirts required a soft "home invasion." I am on Aksa Road. The Army has complete control. This was a well run operation. Troops moved in to secure the rally site in front of the Government Complex at 6:30 pm and demolished the rally stage and transported the demonstrators home. Some 20 buses were provided for the transportation. STR spokesman Suriyan Thongnuiea announced at 6:45 pm, telling the demonstrators to pack their belongings, saying they would be transported by buses back home at 10 pm. http://www.nationmul...e-30234368.html NPOMC bans rallies The National Peace and Order Maintaining Council has issued an order to ban demonstrations. It announced that the people are prohibited for a making political rally with five people or more. Violators of the order will be subject to a maximum imprisonment of one year and a maximum fine of Bt20,000 or both.
