Flashermac
THAI Smile, a unit of Thai Airways International, will move some of its operations from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Don Muang Airport this month. The airline scheduled a press conference for tomorrow. It is learnt that flights to and from Phuket, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen will be operated at Don Muang Airport, from August 8 onwards. The airline plans to move all operations to the old airport this winter. Don Muang Airport is now the operating base of Thai AirAsia. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingnews/THAI-Smile-moving-to-Don-Mueang-30239891.html
My Penis is hungry
Stupid, it carries people who book internationally to domestic flights, and they have to move. Bangkok Airways is going to love this as now I think the only domestic carrier at Swampy.

cavanami
When I was living in BKK at Suk Soi 93, it was darn near the same distance to either airport, so not much difference.

Flashermac
It takes me about one hour to get to Swampypoom. Then it takes me 50 minutes to fly to Chiang Mai.
