Love it, or hate it: Marmite and Pot Noodle Easter eggs hit the shelves

Chocolate fans are set to either love or hate the latest Easter egg to hit supermarket shelves.

 

The Love Me, Hate Me, Break Me Marmite Easter egg has been created using the famous spread and is accompanied with Marmite Cashew nuts for a ‘Yeaster’ treat.

 

Unilever and chocolate makers Kinnerton are also launching a Pot Noodle egg set to delight grown up kids.

 

It comes with a mug featuring an image of the much-loved student snack but does not taste of noodles and is made of plain milk chocolate.

 

Rachel Wyatt, marketing director at Kinnerton Confectionery, said: “Easter isn’t just for kids. These two iconic brands appeal to the often hard to please older kids.

 

“The Marmite Easter Egg, is delicious and fun. Shoppers are either going to Love or Hate it.

 

“It combines Marmite with chocolate. The Pot Noodle mug and egg is made from milk chocolate with a cool mug for all those Pot Noodlers out there to keep.â€

 

Each egg costs £5 and will be available to purchase from supermarkets in February.
