StoneSoup
Dose anyone know where to find Vietnamese nuoc mam fish sauce in Bangkok? I'm looking for the real thing - Red Boat or Three Crabs (or Five Crabs). Preferably, 40 or 50 "degree" concentation. Thanks! SS
Flashermac
Foodland maybe? Villa? I've seen it when I wasn't looking for it. There's also this area ... http://www.austinbushphotography.com/blog/bangkoks-sunday-vietnamese-market.html
StoneSoup
Hi Flash - It's easy to find Thai fish sauce - Tiparos or Squid brand - but I haven't seen the real Vietnamese stuff anywhere. I found the same link that you suggested - but that market sounds like it is mostly finished/prepared foods, or fresh produce - not manufactured basic ingredients. But - I will take a look next Sunday. Cheers, SS
Flashermac
I thought they might be able to tell you where to find it. Good luck.
