Guest
" Well done to the Germans who seem ready to welcome hundreds of thousands of migrants - means the rest of us don`t have to take that many " http://fortune.com/2015/09/08/germany-migrant-crisis/ A German official said Tuesday the country can sustain up to 500,000 or more new asylum-seekers or more every year, a comment that comes as hundreds of thousands of people from war-torn countries across the Middle East and Africa are making their way to Europe to chase the promise of a better life. Part of Germany’s rationale for allowing hundreds of thousands of migrants through the doors lies in demographics. Germany has one of the world’s most rapidly aging and shrinking populations. With one of the world’s lowest birthrates, the country relies on immigration to plug a growing workforce hole.
buffalo_bill
If a way can be found to let most of these people have some sort of integration it should be of great benefit to Germany although their faces are not of the white colour . Many of them are already well educated and just need to learn the Jeorman language . Funny to see the Polish people showing strong aversion against the refugees , we have had to absorb human criminal filth from Poland for the last 15 years invading Germany although a hundred years ago many good people from Poland decided to settle in Germany and helped to develop the country . Time will tell .
baa99
Watching those Hungarian trains being stopped and the "undesirables" taken off gave me a chill. It looked frighteningly like Nazi Germany relocating "undesirables" to camps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oshYn8rbBuM
cavanami
No worries...the USA will sort it out... U.S. Boots on the Ground in Syria http://www.infowars.com/u-s-boots-on-the-ground-in-syria/ Defense officials have told CNBC the Pentagon has boots on the ground in Syria assisting the Kurds. The nature of the special ops was not disclosed. Earlier this week the Pentagon stated it has not included Syrian Kurds in its training of mercenary groups fighting to depose the government of Bashar al-Assad. The program is confined to training “moderate Syrian opposition forces outside of Syria,†Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said on Tuesday. Asked about cooperating with the Kurds, Cook said the Pentagon will “work on range of groups on the ground and we will continue to do so going forward. We are looking for help and support from range of forces that are bringing the fight against ISIS.†Last week Ciwan Ibrahim, head of the Kurdish security of the Peoples Protection Units, said a number of Western countries have trained Kurdish forces in counter terrorism techniques. He did not menton specific countries. The Peoples Protection Units represent the armed wing of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party. Turkey believes the organization is an extension of the separatist Kurdistan Workers Party, which is outlawed in Turkey. Turkey disagrees with the United States on supporting the Kurds inside Syria. A recent deal struck between Turkey and the United States on the use of the Incirlik airbase does not cover support for the People’s Protection Units. The announcement of boots on the ground in Syria assisting the Kurds appears to be a response to the increased Russian presence in the country.
waerth
Syria is getting more of a bloody mess day by day. Turkey bombing the Kurds instead of Isis, the West supporting the Kurds against Isis and Assad, The Russians supporting Assad now interfering, the Arab countries bombing everyone but Assad .... it is really a totally fucked up situation. I really do not blame any Syrian, whether economic or real refugee to wanting to get out of this mess! Luckily Syria's population only stands at 17 million and I feel that even if all 17 mill would come to Europe we would be able to absorb all of them. The Eastern European countries should be handled harder. You want the benefits of the EU also take the burdens! I agree with BuBi, most Syrians seem well educated, so if guided well they could benefit the countries they are settling in. Unfortunately there is always the 5% idiots whom will blow it for the other 95%. I suggest execution for those.

ALHOLK
Luckily Syria's population only stands at 17 million and I feel that even if all 17 mill would come to Europe we would be able to absorb all of them. I don't think so.. It might be possible if they were evenly distributed over Europe in enirety. As of now Germany and Sweden take the major part of te load. Germany takes musch more than Sweden but is also nearly ten times bigger(populationwise).
