Mekong
9th February 1991, it seems just like yesterday. I had been visiting Thailand since the late 80's, Pre Internet days when it was fun, but 9 February 1991 was the day I said to myself "Kong Try and live there" 25 Years on I am still here, I must be mental. Back then (OMG I sound like an old fart), a 10 Baht note was common in ones change, 10 Baht notes are like white dog turds, we know they existed but just never seen anymore, Flag Drop on a Taxi was still 35 Baht back then, how those guys make a living I will never know. Has Thailand been good to me? Well I have stuck around for Quarter of a century, still broke as always, somehow my get rich quick schemes always end up in failure, but it has been damn good fun along the way. Now for those of you who know me, MOUTH SHUT, what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas OK, I am not a boring old kunt, I just chose to do my shit unobserved hehe. I have been getting away with it all my life Now I am a Bugger for posting little ditties, life without music is like a fridge without Vodka so 25 Years http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tJls7B_46as

Flashermac
Nah, I'm still a newbie. Arrived at the beginning of March 1973. The Thai population was 40 million, compared to 70 million now. p.s. That additional 30 million all own and drive cars in Bangkok.
Mekong
You wanna try the 90 Million Plus in Vietnam and all seem to own 2 motorcycles each, it was probably safer back in your time there when someone pointing an AK47 at you, at least one knew what ass was trying to kill you back then. Vintage_Kwai
What happened to Bernard Trink? Used to look forward to his spread in the Bangkok Post (Nite Owl) until they decided to go PC (politically correct).
