greg
Just heard on the BBC News that the government in Cambodia are closing down ALL night clubs in the capital. The thinking is that these are the places where most crimes are plotted. Including the buying and selling of young girls. Backpackers are leaving in their droves (so its not all bad news)

Fatboy
Cambodian websites are reporting nothing, so maybe this is news from a week or two ago.
Guest
Yeah I heard this report too and put a post on penhball.com and have had a reply from the moderator Lucky to say that nothing is happening on the ground in PP. There were raids on SP two weeks ago or so maybe that is what they meant. UG
greg
Quite possibly I heard the report on Radio 1 which is trying to be too trendy for its own good. They obviusly got hold of an 'old' piece of news and thought they would keep in with the Brittish backpakers.
