Well that was unnecessarily complicated, I've filled out the forms and downloaded the net passport. I've reconfirmed my email address. Now I just need for you to approve my application.

"so says you'

Actually, so said the moderator. Not sure what you mean by the above comment.

Perhaps I should have cited the source, cause I have no better knowledge than what the moderator stated, and it sounded reasonable since the board was back up a few days after it went down, and now runs much faster than before.

If you know more, perhaps you can cite your source.

'child porn' and 'defamation'

Child Porn and defamation were the reasons put forward by another poster for the pehnball site going down. I believe his claim was that they got kicked off of there server for these reasons. I believe this is likely because the site went down suddenly and with no warning. Also I looked at the site the night before it went down and there was an obviousely questionable picture posted. I don't claim to know why the site went down and changed servers nor do I care, but I have noticed that not one picture has been posted since they increased bandwidth.

Penhball's former host is a company called Affinity based in California USA. You can call them on this number; 877.865.6580

The reason that they pulled Penhball so quickly is firstly that the site was clearly in violations of its agreement with Affinity and secondly the nature of the violations meant that it would be easier to pull the site than have the FBI breathing down their necks.

Interestingly the complaints that led to Penhball being pulled came from WITHIN Cambodia.

As for getting the site back up so quickly, well this would be a straightforward thing to do if all the files were backed up. It would simply mean finding another host and that is easily done.

Mart, Another plausible explanation. Seems like allowing photos on message board sites increases the need for close moderation.

Personally, I like the boards for getting and sharing info on what is going on in the scene. I'm not much into the photos and recitations of sexual prowess.

I'm currently trying to keep up with at least 6 different boards. All of these boards have strict rules on not violating these regulations.

Thanks for the nice comment Mart, I was just lucky that day. You've got my respect for your adventurous lifestyle that I wished I had adopted at a much earlier age.

Nothing too big Bassgod, I was in the Hong Kong Hotel Jul 4 2001, when extortionists (or whomever) detonated a bomb that made a mess of the hotel and my room.
