Video of a food seller's stall being raided by authorities has sparked outrage in Indonesia.

Saeni is seen begging officials in Serang, west of Jakarta, not to confiscate her food as punishment for being open during the day in the fasting month of Ramadan.

She told local media she was deeply in debt, but now money and support are pouring in for her.

10% of the Indonesians are Christian, while another 2% are Hindu. Apparently, the police decided they must observe Ramadan too, whether they like it or not.

Thailand decides that alcohol cant be sold and non Buddhist cant drink in public on religious holidays too, whether they like it or not
